This station is one of only two stations professionally handcrafted by Steve Moore. As a collector of pre-war Basset Lowke equipment, Steve is keeping one for himself. It is a one piece station in the British Railway Station tradition and matches pre-war Hornby or Basset-Lowke train sets. It is made of 26 gauge steel and has embossed windows, doors, drain pipes and arches. The inclusion of the two bridges plus the use of small rivets make this a sturdy model. The station consists of two sheds, one water tower, one signal box, one foot bridge, two lower ticket offices, one upper central ticket office, two toilets, two entrance steps, three canopies, two benches and many more details. It is painted in a sprayed semi-gloss paint. It is 48 inches long, 11 ¼ inches high and 21 ½ inches wide. Asking price for this unique one-off station is $1,500 in US funds plus shipping.
